What We Treat

Blossoming Minds Therapy supports families with many speech and language difficulties. Our team of certified speech-language pathologists provides evidence-based treatment for children of all ages, specializing in areas that require deep expertise and individualized attention.

Fluency Disorders

We specialize in the treatment of fluency disorders, including stuttering and cluttering. Amanda Fransen has made fluency disorders one of her primary areas of expertise throughout her nearly fifteen-year career, providing compassionate, evidence-based intervention for people who stutter.

Childhood Apraxia of Speech

We provide specialized intervention for children diagnosed with childhood apraxia of speech, including the Kaufman K-SLP Methods and behavioral strategies to build successful vocal communication. This motor speech disorder requires targeted, specialized treatment approaches that our clinicians are trained to deliver.

Language Difficulties

Our speech-language pathologists address receptive and expressive language delays, helping children develop the communication skills they need to succeed in school and social settings. As all clinicians at Blossoming Minds Therapy are speech-language pathologists and assistants, we are uniquely qualified to identify and support the underlying language difficulties that other professionals often overlook.

Our Unique Approach

What sets Blossoming Minds Therapy apart is our dual expertise in both speech-language pathology and educational therapy. This combination allows us to identify how speech and language challenges impact learning, and to address both areas simultaneously. Many language-based learning disabilities have underlying speech and language components that are frequently missed when these disciplines work in isolation.
